I’m so sorry, this is a bit confusing. When I ask to create a literature review with outline it more looks like a thesis structure when I put I needed it for a 80000 words thesis, it gives me a 80000 words literature review.
Thank you!!! @David Stuckler
Thank you Prof!!!
Amazing value. Really helpful video with concise explanations. Really appreciate professor.
Samsung Record splits out the speakers. Transcribes and summarize. If it is incorrect you can click play to start the recording at the point to listen and correct. You take the Audio file from Zoom and drag into Word to transcribe. Open Word Document. Click on Dictate Click on Transcribe Upload Audio File Need to buy copilot to summarize. This is a deal changer to summarize everything. Rather than relisten and scribble wrte. The Samsung Recorder is so awesome to make notes on the fly. Have a S24.
thanks sir
Very simplified . thanks
Thanks for this, it's really helpful. I want to do a systematic review that compares the outcomes of two different methods such as experimental and modelling approaches, are there going to be two separate PRISMA flow charts to select the final set of articles?
Just one flow chart with clear inclusion criteria for both That said if you feel it is clearer you could make two separate branches
Thanks Sir. I will work on the inclusion criteria.
thank you prof.
Cool! A bit on the expensive side for me right now but see myself buying it in the near future
This tool is really awesome!
А вроде так то и связки стабильно выходят) КУЛЛ
i'm a master's student who did some research in collaboration for a lab who thinks its worth a paper, i opened 7 tabs with different videos on how to write one, and closed all of them half way through this video, thanks alot !
Excellent lecture 👍👍
Thank you for the tips. I am writing my proposal to as a requirement for my application for Doctrate. This is very helpful as English is my second language.
It was just too helpful ! relieved me having any guilts in doing what I was doing through Chat GPT. Grateful.
PEER. I have some confusion regrarding R: Repeat or Linking. Does it mean repeating the point or claim that was made on first sentence? I mean, this repeating can act as claiming the point to be true based on example and elaborations of pervious sentences. Am I correct? Clarify please.
❤
I am against such recommendation.
Yes, and this style works for just about any factual writing, not just academic writing. My kids are going to hate me when I make them start doing this for all their essays next year. mwahahahahaha
Thankyou for sharing, Well I still use Undetectable AI cuz this always help me to bypass ai detectors
This helped me a lot
In literature review, we describe previous research works on a specific topic. Since, it is 'previous', we should use 'past' tense. However, in some cases, I am observing use of present tense like " Author presents new model." Why they are not using past form "Author presented new model"? Please clarify. Thanks.
Hey so they may be referring to what they are doing in the current paper at that point. But yes if using past tense it’s important to stay consistent. Also bear in mind some authors just don’t write well.. If you send the specific paper we can look at one of our live workshops

Thank you.
Great video and has certainly helped. Have you very looked at using Harzing's Publish or Perish for the searching of relevant documents?
Thank you so much Prof! This is super helpful!

what about AI detection professor? I am pretty sure that the editing that chat gpt did, changed the structure, and has AI%.. wont this qualify as AI written and disqualify the thesis integrity infront of the examination board?
This is the best clear, and direct explanation I watched till now
this is such a great vid ty. the hamburger analogy really tickled me too..
Thank you! Amazing tips! Although I'm not sure how ethical it is to use ChatGPT for editing? Wouldn't the anti-AI programmes recognise it as AI-generated text?
This is fantastic sir, how do I get in touch with you?
🕊
Hey, Dav! Good have you online again…
Hey there, I think Web of Science is also a good source for writing a paper at a college level. whats your thoughts on that? also , it looked very easy when you looked for the articles, when its very important to get as specific articles as possible to save time. So using Bloolean is important, don't you think? when you just plug in sentences from the abstract it seems we are missing the whole point of learning about the topic. I want to believe it is that easy, but I don't know why am nervous the way to do it.
This is gold, thank you.

I would also look at the publisher. MDPI isn’t predatory, but it is close. They do have a suspiciously high acceptance rate and based on the topics they have sent me to review, they just want a body to provide a review. I’m regularly asked to review terrible papers from well outside my area of expertise. I want to support open access research, but MDPI seems to be more interested in collecting publication fees than publishing good science.
Just in case a paper has not put limitations, how can I find the gap?
How can i reach out for private consultations?

Hello sir, I am a fresh graduate from Bangladesh. I am currently working on my publications and I follow you a lot. Sir, I have a question if you please don't mind. I used some of the fast reading/finding information methods (let's say scispace/elicit/copilots and all) to fast forward. However, finding like this causes me to avoid the other parts of the paper which can help me to generate new ideas and topics. Can I please know your thoughts?
